Antique prints of famous paintings, buildings, exhibits, etc., from the 1889 Paris Exhibition

"Chefs d'Oeuvre de L'Exhibition Universelle"

The Chefs d'Oeuvre de luxe edition consisted of a set of portfolios contained in beautifully embossed thick covers. The portfolios contained hand-colored photogravures depicting the "Masterpieces of the World Fair of Paris."
A bound version of the portfolios was also published. The prints offered for sale here come from both the portfolios and the bound volume.

Original hand-colored photogravures, color photogravures, and duo-tone and sepia photogravures from 1889. Generally on thick art paper, although this does vary somewhat.
